Hello World - My First Venture into Personal Branding

I read a lot of books on business. Work life balance, productivity methods, marketing and strategy etc etc. One guy that's really inspiring me at the moment is Gary Vaynerchuck. He's a fast talking, loud marketeer and entrepreneur, his thing is all about hustle, working hour after hour after hour perfecting your brand and growing your business.

I'm actually sick of working every hour the good lord sends, after years of working in shops and pubs part time, whilst working on the business, I'm happy to work at my own pace and taking time off when I want. Working for myself allows that, I think I'm beginning to believe the old adage of work to live, don't live to work. However, having recently read Vaynerchuk's book Crush It!   I've been inspired to work on my own brand and learn some lessons in hustling and working smarter.

I'm always working on a variety of projects at any given time, and lately I've found that although they may not directly represent the ten30 brand, they do represent me and what I stand for. So I've decided to catch up with the rest of the internet and build this blog / folio site, Alan Moore - Work / Life / Style somewhere I can keep all my work together, pitch for new work and write about things I'm interested in, that might not have anything to do with the label.

Anyway, this is my first post, let me know what you think of the site, the blog or my work.
